RELEASE BLITZ! THE GAMBLER by Denise Grover Swank

The third book in the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Wedding Pact series.

Libby St. Clair believes in fate--so much so, she's willing to pin everything on a curse a fortune teller placed on her and her two best friends when they were kids. The curse, that each of them will marry before thirty, have a disaster of a wedding, and end up with a man other than her original fiancé, has come to fruition for both of her friends, who are now deliriously happy. But Libby's attempt to quick-start the curse by proposing to her wrong-for-her boyfriend ends in a wild dash from the altar. She's rescued by her friend Noah, the only person who understands her impulsive decisions--because he's the same way.

Having spent most of his adulthood fleeing responsibility and commitment, Noah McMillan is finally ready to grow up. Of course, figuring out how is still a work in progress. When he realizes he's in love with Libby, he flies to Kansas City to put a stop to her wedding. But Libby's already pulled a runaway bride. Eager to cheer her up and prove that he can be the man she deserves, he takes her on a madcap car trip that will bring them all the way to the City of Sin.

In Vegas, those who risk it all either win big or lose everything, so what will happen if Libby and Noah take a gamble on love?

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Denise Grover Swank was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived in the area until she was nineteen. Then she became a nomadic gypsy, living in five cities, four states and ten houses over the course of ten years before she moved back to her roots. She speaks English and smattering of Spanish and Chinese which she learned through an intensive Nick Jr. immersion period. Her hobbies include witty Facebook comments (in own her mind) and dancing in her kitchen with her children. (Quite badly if you believe her offspring.) Hidden talents include the gift of justification and the ability to drink massive amounts of caffeine and still fall asleep within two minutes. Her lack of the sense of smell allows her to
perform many unspeakable tasks.

She has six children and hasn’t lost her sanity.
Or so she leads you to believe.

If only he’d tell me how to avoid upsetting him.
If only I could please him.

Mother by day. Writer by night. I spend a majority of my day with my children and reading while my nights are filled with the sound of the keyboard as I work on my next work.

I have written in nearly every LBGT category as well as the traditional erotic romance category.
I love to try new things and learn from every piece of work I write. I'll write just about anything once to learn from it. I've even ventured out of my normal erotica genre into Monster Erotica. Doubt you'll find me writing anything not erotic as you can barely get me to even read something out of that category, but then again, you never know what I might try next.

Never stop learning. Try everything at least once.

About This Literary Chef
As a child Laina thought she would either be a truck driver (thanks to Jerry Reed in Smokey and the Bandit) or work at Taco Bell (her favorite restaurant as a child). As she grew older she realized her talents lay in academics and business and for the last several years has been a business consultant and college professor where she uses the analytical side of her brain and not the side that makes up stories.

Through all her career choices she has continued to have a passion for writing. This stemmed from childhood whereas an only child she developed a vivid imagination spending most of her time making things up and thinking the Incredible Hulk lived in her closet. Proud of her vast experiences in life from barrel racing to being on the dance team for a semi pro basketball team to being a mom of 2 amazing kids, she tells her family and friends that no one is safe from their escapades slipping in to her books.

Taking the plunge to write books that she actually lets people read in 2010, she has worked her way up to having 5 fans (maybe 6 now). Her blog, The Art Of Living Fabulously, was launched to share the daily fun in the life of a Real Housewife of the Midwest along with the musing of other fabulous ladies.

RELEASE BLITZ! MAIDEN CLAIMED by RAVYN RAYNE

maiden claimed - release day blitz banner
Maiden Claimed by Ravyn Rayne
Series: Palace Secrets Book 2
Publisher: Blushing Books
Released: August 6, 2015
MaidenClaimedx500
It was supposed to be a simple trip to the market in Paris. Nothing for Lady Hannah is ever simple. One secret after another. The lies are mounting up. Lady Hannah has made a deal with the devil. Worse she’s falling in love with him. There’s no turning back. A steamy medieval romance filled with spankings and erotic pleasures.

A Character Interview with Hannah

Do you ever feel jealous of the queen, your former mistress and friend?
She's still very much my friend. Sometimes late at night I'm jealous of the romance between Ella and Alexander, but I've come to accept my position at court. As for Ella being queen, that's a job I would never want.

How hard is it for you to keep a secret?
Lies mounting up will get you caught. The goal is to weave a tale of truths into the secret so that you remember every detail. There are times I wish I didn't have to keep secrets, but my life and those I love depend on it. I know how to keep my mouth shut. It's not easy but I'm careful.

You travel to Paris quite a bit. Do you like it there?
It's absolutely beautiful. There's a wealth of silk, jewels, and other fine goods at the market that I can't easily get elsewhere.

What about the men in Paris?
I avoid most of them as best I can. If I brought a gentleman back to the palace, Ella or Alexander would likely have my head.

Excerpt

Waiting outside the bathhouse, a gentleman, with honey-golden hair and eyes as green as the blades of grass on a summer’s day, stops in front of me. He looks me over and smiles. His face is covered in scruff and dirt licks his skin. “I approve.” There’s an arrogance surrounding this man, and I have the urge to silence him. “You approve of what?” I ask and cross my arms defensively. My eyes narrow, unpleased. “I approve of you joining me in the bathhouse. Though I admit you look pretty clean already. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised.” He reaches out to touch a strand of my blonde hair and I swat his fingers away and force his arm down to his side. “You’ve lost your mind.” My grip on his wrist is forceful, showing him who’s boss. “What do you think you’re doing?” he asks, glancing down at my hand still holding his wrist.

Three Questions with the author, Ravyn Rayne

All your romance novels tend to be novella length, can you tell us why that is?
Sure! I find I prefer reading and writing shorter romance novels, especially when it comes to romantic erotica. I want my readers to enjoy the novel, the romance, and the sex without feeling boggled down by too many plot details that aren't necessary. (Have you ever read a book and thought, wow this scene was totally unnecessary?) If I want to write a subplot or have a specific direction I desire the story to go in, then I will continue the series in another book. Some of my favorite romantic erotica novels are 22k-30k words, which tend to be the length I'm writing. This also gives me the opportunity to write a lot and publish often. So readers will be able to pick up a new Ravyn Rayne title every month and sometimes two per month!

Is there going to be a third book in the Palace Secrets series?
Yes! Grave Misfortune has already been written. It's scheduled for release September 24th.

Where can readers find out information on your upcoming novels?
I have a page on my website Ravyn's Books, that exclusively details the books, blurb, release date (if available). It also includes information on the current books I'm working on. Sometimes there's changes to the page if a book hasn't been released yet (title, slight blurb change), but for the most part it's fairly accurate. It's also the most up to date place I keep information.

Snag the first book, Palace Secrets

Love comes in many forms and always at a price. At twenty-three, Princess Isabella must settle down for the sake of her kingdom. Caught up in a secret affair with her lady-in-waiting, Hannah, the princess knows it can only last for so long. When Prince Alexander arrives to court her, he confides that his father is on his death bed, and he will be crowned king soon. Isabella hastily agrees to the proposal, desiring to be queen, knowing little about her soon to be husband. Murder, secrets, and lies combine with menage, spanking, and erotic encounters in this steamy medieval romance.

RELEASE BLITZ! DEMON'S INK by @kimkasch

Drake and Bartos come to the Pacific Northwest, where they open yet another tattoo shop but Bartos has no trouble dealing with the competition because there’s nothing normal about his art. And he’s stealing more than clients from the local skin artists. He's stealing their souls.
Customers fall in love with Bartos Slinderman’s tats but end up paying the ultimate price for their purchase because unlike Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Gray, they can’t walk away from this art and it’s beautiful until it comes crawling out of their flesh to devour the nearest thing...

Hi everyone! I'm a new romance writer and want to introduce myself.

I’m sure you’re a friendly bunch of people and that can be hard to find, especially out in the writing world.

Anyway, here's a little bit about me. I grew up in a family with 9 kids and 1 t.v. so I spent my days reading and, later, writing. I've always loved books. . .maybe partly because I never got to pick the t.v. shows we watched. Although I would run home from school every afternoon so I could watch the last fifteen minutes of Dark Shadows...

I still love to run...or at my age, maybe I should call it wogging (kind of a cross between walking and jogging). I get a group of girls together for community fund raising wogs...like the Run Like Hell, here in Portland, which is a Halloween themed run - where people don costumes and run. It's just a lot of fun...and I know those two words don't always go together: fun...and...run. But it is.

And, with those Halloween themed runs, I guess Dark Shadows had more of an influence than some people might think. Even today my favorite author is Stephen King. My all-time favorite book is Salem's Lot.

Favorite romance novels are The Hunger Games...okay, I know, it's a book about survival but it's really all about romance. Then there were the Twilight Books, The Fifty Shades books, and lots of others but I also really love paranormal, Horror and even light little books like Dewey the Small Town Library Cat... Mainly, I just love to read. . . and write.

I've just recently had my first novel published and am looking for ways to share it with the world. It's a story I was inspired to write after visiting Hamlet's Castle and seeing an enormous Viking statue down in the tunnels next to the dungeons.

Anyway, I'm hoping some of you will help make me feel at home here...because really I'm very shy...I know, no one believes me when I say that, but it's true.

Sorry to be so long-winded but did I say I love to write? ...and talk and...knit, and sew, and bake...see I could go on and on but I'll close by saying, I hope you all will stop by now and then to check out what’s new in my writing world. But I can tell you now that I have a young adult horror novel coming out in July: Demon’s Ink.

So thanks for stopping by and for listening.
